The inside of our LA home is pretty basic. It lacks any unique architectural details. And to be honest, it actually feels more like an apartment than a house sometimes. But we knew from the beginning that that ain’t stopping us from putting our spin on things to give it some character.
We had a multi-colored striped sofa and a green sofa in our NOLA home so naturally we wanted something just as colorful for our LA space. Well, we done did it and got a custom yellow sofa with a reversible chaise! Room & Board came through to help give our home a much needed statement piece. And you know me, I am all about a statement sofa, especially for small spaces. I picked the color Vance Gold with ebony stained legs. It’s like a Heinz mustard party up in here. I love it. It’s also velvet which is so luxurious.
I’ve been a fan of Room & Board for many years. I used to stop by their Culver City showroom after work to get inspiration. I’ve seriously been eyeing this Jasper sofa for 10 years now.
