Before & After • Hallway Lighting
I just updated our hallway lights with these pretty awesome IKEA Lillholmen sconces. We were trying to save up for the Alto Sconce from Cedar & Moss, but when we went to IKEA in DC and saw these for $14.99, we were like, uhh...DUH TO THE DONE! They're not as refined as the C&M ones but I mean...they're good enough for now. They come in brushed nickel so I spray painted them in Rustoleum gold. They look pretty damn good, right? They'll look even better once we paint the whole house Dove White. So, there's a plastic ring around the rim of the sconce which we removed. Be super careful if you decide to do this because the edges are kinda sharp. And then you need some goo-be-gone to remove that gooey gunk. Now the hallway needs some badass art!
