PUT IT ON A STAND
I'm mildly obsessed with anything that's on a stand right now. Whether it's a statue, some odd figure, rock, seashell, turtleshell, frame artwork, anything, even Buddha on a stand! You can probably put a roll of toilet paper on a stand and it'll look amazing. Maybe. Something about it just elevates the whole thing. Pun not intended. I've gathered a few interiors that showcases them, especially in Thomas O'Brien's Manhattan home, which is still a huge inspiration for me. Was that like 2006? And remember his Target line? Nate Berkus is like the new Thomas O'Brien. Not that Thomas O'Brien has gone anywhere but I really haven't seen much from his design studio. What's that handsome fella up to these days? Below is his beautifully cluttered and collected vignette. Lots of stuff on museum stands here.
Here are a few objects on a stand that I found. I'm loving the petrified woods and the turtle shell made out of resin.
