FLEETING MOMENTS IN THE EMERALD COAST

We drove to Destin with a couple friends for the long weekend. It's about a four-hour drive from New Orleans. There were lots of antique malls and thrift stores on the way but the crew wanted to maximize their beach time so I didn't get to thrift. It's okay because the beach was beautiful. I've never seen water so green before. It was like swimming in green Hawaiian Punch. And the sand was soft and white like snow. There's one super yummy restaurant where I'd definitely go back for. It's called Louis Louis and their blackened grouper with cheddar grit cake and spinach was perfection. Hope you all enjoyed your weekend!
