Holiday Dressing with Old Navy
Sponsored by Old Navy
Last weekend, we were invited to three parties. There was a holiday housewarming, followed by a delicious Reveillon dinner, which is a New Orleans tradition that goes back to the early 19th century. Then, we ended the night with caroling at a friend’s house. It was so much fun hopping from one house to the next, and boy did I have a few too many glasses of wine. ’Tis the season, am I right?! It’s my favorite time of year because of all the parties and get togethers with friends and family. And with all the holiday festivities in full swing and the temperatures dropping, it means plenty of layering.
Old Navy has some awesome deals right now, especially in their layer shop. I went with a versatile, classic look in black and white and a cheery pop of color. This striped textured sweater fits great and feels super soft. I paired it with skinny black pants and a black wool coat. Black coats are the best because it instantly makes whatever you’re wearing a little more chic. It’s like a blazer. And I threw on a red plaid scarf to top it off. It’s subtle but still festive and fun for the holidays. It was the perfect accessory for caroling!
