Hanging with The Posters
I always come back to this John Waters quote — "If you go home with somebody and they don’t have books, don’t fu*k them." I guess you can say that's exactly how I feel when I go home with somebody and they don't have any art. I high tail out of there! Haha.
I have a hard time leaving walls bare and it can be hard to find artworks sometimes, so I'm working with The Posters to share some of their beautiful and affordable artworks. They're based out of Los Angeles and they "make art accessible to everyone by publishing affordable, museum-quality posters with established and emerging artists. They also help support the next generation of artists by donating 10% of every sale to help fund art classes at institutions like Inner-City Arts in downtown Los Angeles." Pretty awesome, right? You have the option to get them beautifully framed, too, which are done by Simply Framed who we've worked with last year. The posters I chose are Sam Falls' Untitled (Rainy Day LA Times Excerpt), Simone Shubuck's Mini Future Shoob, and Matt Connors' Reverse Reader.
