HAPPENINGS THIS WEEKEND

Since Christmas is just around the corner, the city is bustling with holiday events and shoppers. This weekend, I'm making my way out to The First Ever Renegade Craft Fair in Los Angeles. Isn't the flyer lovely? I just wanna wear it and keep me all warm and fuzzy. Artwork by the talented Kate Sutton. I'm hoping to score some handmade gifties at the fair. Then, there's the yummy Artisanal LA I'm considering. And also the massive Rose Bowl flea market with my vintage vulture, Ashley. So much to do!

After all the shopping, I'll be going to the sold out, Aimee Mann's 5th Annual Christmas Show at Largo with my Heartmate. It's a holiday variety show and I've been to two in the past and Aimee Mann never fails to crack me up silly. There's something about her Christmas shows that really gets me into the holiday spirit, not like I need a kick or anything. It's just being around good people, laughing, sipping on cider, and watching talented people on stage. In the past years some special guests include Zooey Deschanel, Ben Gibbard, John C. Reilly, Rich Sommer of Mad Men, Michael Penn, and many more. Check out Aimee Mann's version of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. S'wonderful!
