NAIVE: MODERNISM AND FOLKLORE IN CONTEMPORARY GRAPHIC DESIGN
It's finally here! I've been dying to get my thrifty hands on this book, Naive: Modernism and Folklore in Contemporary Graphic Design. All I gotta say is, get it, if you don't already own it. It's saturated with works by super talented artists who give a nod to Classic Modernism, from the 1940s to 1960s. You might be familiar with some of them, like Matte Stephens, Darling Clementine, Jen Ski, Nate Duval, Kate Sutton, and Skinny Laminx.
They're so beautiful I'm tempted to tear out some of my favorites and frame it. But I'm not going to.
I wanna thank this lovely lady who sent this wonderful book to me all the way from UK. I was so excited because this is my first package from somewhere other than US of A! Cheers to that! And to the weekend! Have a fantastic, thrifty one!
