HAPPY FRIDAY!
I was digging in my archives and found this black and white photograph I took 10 years ago in Santa Cruz. This was from one of my first rolls of film. I was in an intro to photography class that summer. Looking back on it, it was such an exciting time. I had just switched my major from chemistry to fine art. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
This weekend, I'm in Denver for one of my cousin's graduation. I only have two cousins so it's a big deal. It's been 15 years since the last time I visited so I'm sure lots have changed. On my to do list is of course, check out Sweet Action ice cream. I also wanna cruise on over to Stitch & Hammer's studio in Boulder to see their lovely leather goods. They're having a fun event tomorrow with a few local makers.
If you're in Los Angeles, do check out the Modernica Factory Sale. Here's your chance to get some of that fiberglass goody, or that Noguchi coffee table, or some planters for a super deal! I'm bummed I can't make it this year.
Have a marvelous weekend, my vintage vultures!
