DAB IT YOURSELF • PEACOCK TREE TRIMMINGS

Since we're staying in New Orleans for the holidays, we're inviting friends over for a merry ol' time. Which means I need to make our place all festive feeling. I went to Home Depot earlier today to look for garlands and I was surprised that they sold out. I was a little bummed but the Christmas tree fellas said I could have whatever I wanted in the tree trimmings box. I'm like, DONE! So I went through the bin and found these peacock looking trimmings and that's when the idea came about. What would you call this? Not a wreath and not really a garland. I tied a few of the trimmings together and nailed the piece to the wall. What do you guys think? A pretty nice piece for the cocktail bar, yeah? I think I need to add some more stuff to it.
