FLEETING MOMENTS

Moving to New Orleans has been really exciting and fun and new but it's been kinda lonely, too. I'm basically starting all over. I'm trying to carve out a circle of creative friends but it hasn't been easy. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough. I miss my friends and family in L.A. and I miss all the yummy Asian food. Thank goodness for all the pho here or else I'd go crazy. Since I'm not going back to L.A. as frequent as I would like, I'm trying to get all my friends to visit me instead!

My bff Justina and her hubby visited me last week and stayed at our brand new home. It was so much fun. I'm trying to convince them to move here because why not?! We ate lots of fried food and beignets and jammed to amazing live music for over five hours. It was a total blast.

Even though I've only been here for a little over five months, I'm working on a little New Orleans city guide for you all.
